In 2023 Alford Hub funded and delivered 242 Warm Packs across the District of East Lindsey, Lincolnshire.
The packs consisted of the following items:
Slow Cooker
Blankets
Hot Water Bottles
Torches and Batteries
Water saving devices
Sim Card with FREE unlimited calls, texts and 20gb of data
Carbon Monoxide Alarms
Alford Hub would like to thank all the Alford Hub volunteers, Anglian Water, Vodaphone, Safelincs and Platform Housing. Without you all this would not have been possible.
In addition to this Alford Hub ran daily Warm Spaces, with free warm refreshments and information and support signposting.
Introducing Alford Hub’s Ladies Lounge
Do you want to make local friends and share experiences? If so, the Ladies Lounge is for you! It’s free & all ages are welcome.
When & Where: Alford Library, LN13 9AF, every Wednesday between 1pm – 3pm
Night Light Cafe Alford is open on Thursday and Saturday 5pm – 8pm.We’re trained volunteers offering a warm welcome, a hot drink and a friendly listening ear without judgement at this free, NHS-funded community service. We also have information on other services that may be helpful for whatever you’re facing right now.
Anyone over 18 is welcome and there’s no need to book. We’ll be here from 5pm until 8pm sharing a cuppa, connection and even a game or two. We’d love to welcome you and anyone you know who needs some support.
