Introduction to Applying for Grants from the Town Council

Thank you for your interest in applying for a grant from the Town Council. We are dedicated to supporting projects and initiatives that enhance the well-being of our residents, preserve our town’s unique character, and contribute to a vibrant, inclusive, and sustainable community.

Each year, the Town Council allocates a limited amount of funding to support projects that align with our priorities. As such, we encourage applicants to carefully consider how their proposals meet the community’s needs and demonstrate clear and measurable benefits.

Our grants are open to non-profit organisations, and community groups undertaking projects in cultural enrichment, environmental sustainability, educational opportunities, public health, and infrastructure improvements.

Due to the limited funding, not all applications can be approved, and some may only receive partial funding. We strongly recommend that applicants provide a clear and detailed proposal, including a realistic budget and evidence of additional funding sources, if applicable.
